IEM-PROJECT

HISTORY

THE PREVIOUS EDITIONS
In 2005, study organization TBV Lugus recognized the need of their students for an international experience. This need resulted in a first international trip. Destination: Ireland. But the need was greater, and the students wanted to explore the world, not just Europe. Therefore, the Lugians came with the idea to finance this intercontinental trip with consultancy cases. This idea developed into an actual project, the IEM-Project. The first edition of this two-yearly event took place in 2007. Between the editions, the EBT (European Business Trip) is organized for the members of TBV Lugus.

The IEM project is much more than an international trip committee. It could best be described as a consultancy project. During the last few years the project has made incredible progress, both in structure and professionalism. We combine the wishes of companies to get in contact with highly coveted students and work with them to solve their current problems and the wishes of students to gain more practical knowledge which will serve them at the start of their career.

The destinations of the previous editions of the IEM-project are shown below.
